The one thing I have learned

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
I finally decided to take some time out of my dumb, busy schedule to do some drawing! :3

So a little bit about this piece! This is one of my characters and his name is Elliot. He's effeminate and has a unisex name. He has an eye patch. And he is, surprisingly enough, a pirate. xD

Now if he seems a little absurd and over the top to you, don't feel bad for thinking so! He's supposed to be! The comic I will someday make of him is going to be kind of satirical on the whole pirate genre as I see it, because it's usually so swashbucklingly manly and serious business. xD

Hahaaaaa. If it ever happens, it'll be epic. I assure you.

Anywho, this started out as a pen sketch which was drawn using magenta and blue (you can see it here: [link]), but I decided to finagle it a bit on the computer. I (obviously) changed the lines to black, and colored it using SAI and Photoshop. And YES I used some chintzy default textures on the BG, but I think my painstaking script writing makes up for all of the work I cheated at. xDD

Overall though, I'm pretty damn happy with how this turned out. :]
